Today, Friday, on a lark, this morning I was looking at some tourist brochures over breakfast and saw an ad about riding Segways in Naples, which is south of here. We all agreed it would be fun to do so we called at 9:30, found out the next tour was at noon and we quickly did what we had to do to get ready. It took 40 minutes to get there. We had to watch a DVD on safety, then practice in the parking lot before we could take the tour. CHristina was our guide, who we followed like baby ducks. We had earphones in, so we could be in touch with her the entire time. It was fun...it didn't matter where we went or what we saw, we just wanted to ride the Segways! A. Lori took right to it and was zipping all over the place. Rick and I were abit more hesitant and nervous. We were slower and stiffer. They are manuvered with your feet and weight shifts. When were on them for 1 1/2 hours. Great fun!
