Friday 6 June, Day 12.

We are at Lifou Island, part of the Loyalty Islands of New Caledonia, which is a "Compartement" of France. Alan & Jo have gone ashore for a tour, but we didn't see anything that appealed to us so we are staying put and enjoying the sunshine next to the pool. So just a lazy day today and tomorrow as we may not get off at the Isles de Pines either. It's a good opportunity to get Kathy's left ankle right. She has a cream and pills from the doctor and the swelling has gown a bit we think. She gets around OK though, but going down stairs is a bit more tricky.
