Just had dinner in the Sandbar at historic Nye Beach. Of course we had the chowder and I ordered calamari rings. I couldn't help but wonder as the little fried pinched circles lay in front of me, "squid or pig anus." I will never know. But dip them bad boys in their jalapeno relish and I didn't care. They were tasty.
