It's our second day in Dubai and I just realised that I deleted yesterday's post without saving it, so here are the cliff notes: Arrived 10am Dubai time, airport is massive and full of water features (I have since realised they love a good water feature here, there's water spurting out of pretty much everything). So, it's my first day as a lady of leisure, and at 11am on a Monday morning I am experimenting with cocktail recipes for my leaving party...not sure early morning drinking is a good sign on day one - beats going to work though!! Oh, and yes, my hair is now pink!

Seven days until we leave the country - yay! First stop Dubai (for 3 days), then in theory Bangkok, although judging by the pics in the news at the moment we'll be needing arm bands and a personal supply of sandbags...
