Day two - cold, grey, boring. Oh, hang on, im thinking of your day ;)

Another hot day, went to the water park at the Atlantis hotel on the palm. Tell you what, it beats the water park in Tenerife! Had a flume which takes you through the shark tank in the aquarium. And you go up to the slides on a kind of conveyor belt in your rubber ring. Took lots of pics on our recently purchased waterproof camera so will post some when I get to a pc to pull them off.

Also went for an amazing meal at a Lebanese on the waterfront. However, the best bit of today was undoubtedly this...

Yesterday we sat on the terrace and tried to order a beer, but due to a religious event they werent serving alcohol, anywhere, for TWO DAYS! So on the evening of day two we are sitting in the hotel cafe sipping water (its 11pm) when we spotted a little door in the dark corner of the lobby where music started to reverberate from...we dared to peak around the corner, and would you believe it - a dark, dingy, little pub, with horrendous karokee...and beer. Woo hoo!! We are sad, pathetic people I know, but hey, ive got a pint and I'm happy :)
