Hey hey hey. Right another quick update. Im still living in Queenstown and its growing more and more on me with each day. The place is amasing and the people make it even better. We have settled into the apartment well and almost have begun taking it for granted. The view is not to dissimilar to that of the photo attached to the entry, apart from it has a spectacular lake and has no trees on either side. I was labouring for a few days but have knocked it on the head as it was a lot of messing around and the pay was poor. I now work in The World Bar which is mental - its the busiest in this party town, every night is like a carnival! The one thing about Queenstown that i would say is that every day is a Sunday and every night is a Saturday - its a pretty cool lifestlye. The hours are grinding on me though - i have worked 3 shifts each being 11pm - 4/5am. Its hard to motivate myself but until i find another job im sticking with it. I have a trial run at an Indian restaurant tonight so i ll see how it goes. Ive started hitch hiking to and from town - i never thought id be doing it but i have started and the people are more than happy to pick you up. It goes both ways. The two Irish girls (Muireann and Ali) are absoulute nutters - typically Irish in their partying but so chilled out otherwise, it definately makes life interesting living with them. The partying has been limited as we are all working evenings etc but the times we have been out have been top night - usually ending in getting locked out and having to climb in the bathroom window. Haha. There has been a big Reggae party in the park today which i have been chilling out to in the sun. There are always things happening here, street entertainers, glass jugglars and so on. I have made friends with 6 Chilean guys who are top lads but they leave tomorrow so i am hunting for new buddies tomorrow. Apart from that life is going real well - its strange without the guys and at times it can get lonely but thats part of the package i suppose. Oh i forgot to mention about Jay! He is one of the girls friends they met a while ago. He comes from Wanaka (another scenic party area about an hour away) at weekends and he is a crazy little German lad. He is always up to something and fills us with laughs. Im not sure if i mention but we had a couple the girls know staying for a few days last week - Mannas and Andrea who were quality. So we always seem to have guests and company. Right trial at restaurant starts soon so going to fill my belly and get to work. Hope all is well and i ll try to keep a more upto date journal from now on.
