I've spent so long standing at my bedroom window in the middle-of-nowhere Ohio, dreaming about running off and doing things my own way. When other girls were playing with Barbies, I was fantasizing about visiting long forgotten ruins, when other children watched cartoons, I read books and magazines about foreign places and thier history. As I grew older, I was reminded time and again that these were simply flights of fancy, it was simply not practical to skip off to some unknown place, just because you 'felt like it'. So I planned other things. I planned my schooling, I planned my future job, my future husband, my future everything, with minute detail. Except when you have traveler's blood running in your veins, this simply won't last long. And so now, after all the planning has gotten me precisely nowhere, I'm leaving. I refuse to stand at my window wishing and wondering any longer. Its time to fly away with wherever my heart and my gypsy blood decide to take me. Wish me luck!
