Day 8:
Overcast morning
Breakfast of bagels and cereal with juice and coffee. The long range weather is questionable as we need south west winds on Monday for a nice ride and it looks like we are getting north east - this could make for an uncomfortable start to the voyage.
We clean up an pull anchor heading to Hamilton for groceries. Once there we hit the wifi spot at the library for email and weather updates. I surprisingly get a Skype call from my brother but it gets cut short by the local flavored band which started up and I could no longer hear him. It was a nice surprise though.
Then we shop. A few hundred dollars later, we take the cart all the way down to the dingy. We have to make two trips.
We pull anchor and cruise the length of the island to Smith's Island and drop anchor. Yves is able to get a wifi signal off his antenna and share with us.
The Teepee is beside us as they had come here earlier in the day. They invited us for dinner and I think we are having the fish we caught the night before. Another good evening of conversation and food. We go to bed a little earlier as tomorrow is a busy day.
