A good night sleep! For me anyways... Ellie struggled as she points out to me this morning with her burnt bum and 50+ bites from sandflies and mosquitos with two being on the palm of her hand. She was not a happy bunny this morning! Haha. Looks like shrek and donkey roles have reversed!
We were up and ready way too early again. This was already going to be a long day of travel without us waking up early and checking out for breakfast.
However, whilst checking out I came across a discovery... sat in the corner of the reception desk by the suggestions box a pair of my panties! Well they were getting swiped into my pocket quicker than the flash of lightning! I wasn’t giving up I had one out of three back would I find the other two or would they forever be lost on Fiji.
Indeed... that would be their destiny. To be left on Fiji :( how very sad! But at least I have four pants now instead of three! That may prevent the purchase of a reusable nappy!
Tiny little airport, all straight forward checking in as usual. Bloody freezing in there though! Then we were delayed boarding which meant we didn’t actually take off for 40 minutes after schedule, so annoying waiting around especially when you know you have a long ass flight to go.
The flight wasn’t very bumpy thankfully but we flew straight over the Fijian islands, across the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and north Indonesia through al the gorgeous deserved little islands that had absolutely incredible beaches or coral that you could see from 35,000ft! It was beautiful!
We both over indulged on wine, we just kept pressing the buzzer when the hostesses were on chill time haha pretty sure they didn’t like us! Oh well we paid for it and it’s a long ass flight!
I still can’t get over the scenery from the plane it was so beautiful!! The South Pacific is a beautiful part of the world indeed!
We landed in a new time zone! I know I’m going to have just lag from this though because we are five hours in front now, maybe it will help with when we go home? I can’t believe that we only have three weeks left of travel it’s all gone so bloody fart flicking through our photos Sri Lanka and Indonesia seem like a lifetime ago!
Singapore is so clean and orderly, we got the metro to china town and lucky us the Atlantis pods were pretty much straight in front of the escalators that came up from the metro.
There was nothing more that what we wanted tonight and that was a shower and bed! We were staying in space pods they were so bloody cool!! They had their own air con system, lock the door and turn the lights on by switch it’s pretty cool and the cheapest thing we could find here haha!
Early bed before we get up and walk our little socks off tomorrow!
The smell of Chinatown is calling though so there’s going to need to be a lot of walking done to burn the calorie consumption off!
