So after the trip to Kings Canyon and our decsion to head over the unpaved road that was only for 4x4s and obviuosly our brucie wasnt, we were 10km down the road were we had planned (something we didnt do very well thats why the others planned it and we followed) we got to the one and only rest stop on the 100km track just before sunset.
We pulled up in what can be described as a culdisack of desert and beyond dry trees.
After a quick discussion on weather this shortcut was a good or bad idea the lads went straight into the trees to find firewood and left the girls making tea... LADS!! As wiliam was cutting down a whole f***in trreee we heard voices from the other side of the trees (an australian bloke telling us not too because their a living thing) however this was part of the tree that had came off...nevertheless Kevin and william told him to f*** off in French haha...
So with tea made and a crate of beer to work our way through we satup under the stars eating marshmellows and telling storys MOMENT.
An early start was made better by the sight of a 5 part road train turning a huge U-turn bend on the unpaved road at sunrise....Imagine!!
Away we go fingers crossed and praying we get to the otherside because god only knows what would have happened if we had broken down out here!!
Around 4 hours in we reached a piece of tarmaced road aaaaaaaahhhhh breath Brucie Breath..
The Tazy couple where in the middle and had pulled over in a layby we just carried on over the hill not knowing they had a FLAT TYRE thinking they were just taking a break........We had now reached paved roads and cought up with Kev and Will and we decided to pull over and wait..
still waiting.....
Still Nothing so ADK waited in the middle of no where about 30degrees and Kev and Will went back to find them.
Whilst we were waiting a white winabeago pulled over and said theyve got a ''flatty'' weve helped them change it there on there way......us... ''great thanks mate are they ok''? kind winabeago man..... '' yeah fine just dont chop anymore trees down'' us '' ok mate thanks''........
Oh s*** that was the bloke in the campsite last night who Kev n Will told to f*** off in French.....hahahahaha.........WHAT A SOUND BLOKE...
Soooo we arrived at our campsite for the night were we made another campfire and cooked our food onit aswell because we were true bushmen and women now we conqured the unpaved road belonging to the Aboriganes....
