Today was spent at the lake in Haut Languedoc. We found a sloping rock into the water to set up camp amongst the orange arid rocks. I went windsurfing (a very enjoyable experience but tricky to get back to camp!!) and Rory, Mum and Dad went swimming. The water was warm and whilst Rory was swimming he saw an eel! There was fish swimming around our feet while we read our books. We then headed back to Kathryn's and met Mark there. We show - cased the fantastic camping cooker called The Cobb by cooking salmon with salad. Luckily we started the meal when we did because just after finishing fat raindrops started to fall and in a matter of seconds the most gigantic storm decended upon us! We are now thoroughly exhausted and are very much ready for bed.
