Well, as you can see we're now in New Zealand. It's absolutely wonderful. We were picked up from Christchurch airport by our landlady & taken to a marvellous B&B.where we stayed for 2 nights. Whilst there we went to a little place called Rangiora & visited the Johnson family - those of you who worked at Fairview may remember that they ran the cottage bakery in Fairview Ave until 5 years ago & may have taught Stephen & Jessica. We ended up having dinner with them at their house. We had a lovely evening - it was good to see how well they all are & how much they are enjoying life in NZ. Thank you Carol, Michael for the very welcome, & delicious roast dinner! Today we drove through some spectacular scenery to Lake Tekapo where we are staying in an apartment overlooking the lake. We have decided that we like it so much we could be tempted to buy the house next door & spend the rest of our days in solitude by the lake! We're off to Mount Cook tomorrow & then on to Dunedin. This is the life!
