the first day we rode on the tuk-tuk,s paid 5baht(8pence) to ride around for about an hour stopping at the sights(lying buddah, sleeping buddah, golden mountain, markets) . Bangkok has been desribed as the perfect blend of east meets west, and it is, you have buddhist templeds and slums next to high rise buildings and casinos!
we then took a river taxi to bobae marklet...very very cheap clothes, lovely atmosphere and you can barter very cheap prices..none of the clothes fit us though cus even thugh were only 5'5 thats tall for a thai women, and i borught a dress(50pence dont worry mum and dad) it was like half way up my arse...leggings it is!!!
