Checked into the Red Crow Guest House - great location for peaceful contemplation. We missed the excitement earlier in the week when a tree came down on the power line and caught on fire. Weather in Tofino had not been good, but it was sunny for us.

Decided we hadn't eaten enough (right!), so we headed off to the famous Wickanninsh Inn for appetizers (or poo poos - according to my sister). There is definitely a diet in my very near future.

Enjoyed another walk on the beach in the mist and headed back to the Red Crow to try our hands at ocean canoeing.
