Arrived in Tofino after an interesting trek across Vancouver Island (very windy mountain roads). The drive was definitely worth it. I can see, however, why my grandfather wouldn't get out of the motor home on our families cross country trip back in the late 70s. The road must have been upgraded since then. Can't imagine what it must have been like then.

Had a picnic lunch on Long Beach @ Incinerator rock and enjoyed the view.
