Well we are now in Port Douglas - we decided to stay two nights. Last night we headed to a great littel seafood restaurant right on the water - infact the seating area is on a boardwalk above the water - although the water was a bit murky - we could see all the little (and some big) fish swimming around in the water... very nice - especially when a patron at another table threw over a fish carcas which started a feeding frenzy!!

Today is VERY warm, with a light breeze. We have been told that the weather is turning from tomorrow and will not improve 'til Sunday. With winds of up to 25 knots we have been advised that trips to the reef will be all but worthless. (Oh dear... hopefully we will be OK further down the coast a bit later in the week).

We are enjoying the free and easy lifestyle of living in a campervan - starting to think that my next job could be that of a beach bum! (Not quite B's plan though!)
