Well we made it!! 14hrs on the plane! We had a great day yesterday, taking a slow drive back from Napa to San Francisco.

We drove down Highway 1 - which has some stunning views over the coast. Had a beach picnic lunch and then headed for the historic Redwood forest grove Muir Woods. Did a quick 2 mile walk around the forest and then jumped back in the car. The sat nav said it would take 40 mins to get to the airport, which is probably accurate, only there was a major accident which blocked traffic.

We made it to the airport - better late than never! We had a short flight to LA and then a two hour stop over before we headed on to Sydney. We arrived at about 7.45 this morning. The time is now 12h15 and we are still at the airport waiting for our connecting flight to Hobart. We are due to fly at 14.15 - Jet lag is starting to set in, but I think there is a hen party tonight....

Anyway, we have taken this opportunity to add more photos to the site, so you can get an idea of what we have been up to.

PS - Michael - would have been great to come up to Portland. Have to say, that we loved the states, so there is strong possibility that we will be back, so will try to organise something next time around.
