Hi from Mackay!

Well, have to say last week was the worst we have had on our travels, but happy to report this week has been going nicely, no dramas... so far. To give you an idea, here is the rundown of our bad luck...

Saturday - Loz was downloading photos and took the card out of the computer too soon, and wiped ALL the photos - only ones left are these on the website.... few tears, but it's at the camera shop and hopefully they have found them... fingers crossed.

Monday - Mick got parking fine at his work (along with about 30 other cars apparently) but not the end of the world.

Tuesday - Major argument broke out between the Dalys and the owners of the stinkiest caravan park in Mackay (Mick reckons it'd be on the top 10 stinkiest caravan parks in the world list)... in the end, it was decided by all that we should move on (well, she pretty much kicked us out) and we're now at a much much nicer place, with a bed we can sleep on without thinking about catching some weird tropical disease.

Wednesday - Mick gets pulled up by the police in the work truck, gets done for driving without a seatbelt... big fine.. 3 points... feeling like the end of the world is coming....

BUT, now it's been a week since we got evicted, and looks like our bad luck has passed, so we're on track again!

Needless to say, Mick is ready to head off, but I have work lined up till next Friday (17th I think) and I'm going to be sad to go... loving working at Master Builders... maybe we'll be back again one day.

Will write when we're back on the road and the camper is on the ute, and we're driving off into the sunset once again...
