Day 2: Left Howlong at 6:30am heading to Wagga Wagga. Watched the sun come up whilst it was -1 degree. Had brekky at Wagga Wagga, Had a Mighty McMuffin. It was nice, thanks for asking. Let Laura drive coz I like to live on the edge. Watched Laura eat a banana. Discovered the essentials for a long drive: 1. GPS (although Laura keeps growling at the GPS lady. I think she's lovely, but I think Siri is jealous). 2. A USB with all 27 Na Na albums on shuffle (plus a few Metallica ones) = bliss. Oh how I love technology. You know it's time for a break when Laura starts commenting on how 'nice' certain trucks are. Drove through Forbes, didn't see a top 100 list though. Had lunch in a park at Parkes, which was lucky coz we couldn't find a town called 'Cafe'. Had a wee little stop (see what I did there) at Dubbo, then spent the night at the thriving metropolis of Coonabarabran. The three foot tall policeman in the back seat (Porter) so far has told Laura off twice; once for taking off her seat belt, and once for using the rude finger to Daddy, and I got in trouble once for saying the S H word. He also kicked Laura's butt at 'snap' which must be embarrassing for her. Got held up at eight road works today, and the horizontal skippy count is up to 12 so far.
