We spent a couple of days there and then decided that we wanted some more beach and sunshine! Hi Everybody, just a brief update, me and Kate are back from Fraiser Island in one piece. We had a great time, lots of beach driving, and 4X4 driving in VERY HEAVY terrain, it was definatly an experience and glad that we did it! We are leaving for Brisbane tomorrow morning, and are staying there for a couple of days until we decide if we want to head any further down the coast. Hi Everyone, another update on our travels. We are now in Hervey Bay and have been here for 2 days now. Our next stop is Fraiser Island, a large sand island just off the coast. We are hiring our own 4X4 and driving around for 2 days, instead of being tied to a group or tour. We will be back in the main land on Tuesday afternoon, and then probabily off to Brisbane on Wednesday morning. We are having a good time, and enjoying the weather, its around 30 degrees most...

Hi Everyone, another update for you! We moved on from Mission beach and arrived here in Airlie Beach on Monday evening. It is a much more lively place and the kind of thing that we were looking for! We are booked on a boat trip out to some of the Whitsunday Islands tomorrow. I think one of the places we are going, is supposed to be in the top 10 Beaches in the world!
