We have been in Hong Kong for nearly a week now and it is absolutely fabulous! We are staying with Carys' brother Olly and his girlfriend Trish, who live in an amazing apartment on the 57th floor of the Four Seasons hotel. It has a great view over Hong Kong island and a open air swimming pool on the top loor. We have finally had a hot shower and are becoming relatively clean once again. We have mostly been chilling out at the pool and beach so are now starting to look more tanned! The shopping here is brilliant aswell as we are surrounded by Gucci, Armani, Roberto Cabelli etc but we obviously can't afford to buy anything in those shops! Although we did spend a whole day in Zara and Mango and bought quite a lot!!! Well we did deserve a bit of retail therapy. We have been out for some gorgous chineese food and are starting to get very good with chopsticks (well Carys is anyway). It tastes completely different to the chineese food you get in England and much nicer. We have also sampled the Hong Kong night life; a city which never sleeps, partying in to the early hours of the morning! All the people here are really friendly and don't stare at you! We are off to China on Friday, although we are getting very used to the high life in Hong Kong so packpacking once again should be interesting!
