Having prebooked our ferry crossing with the National Trust from the Crom Estate we got to the jetty around 1015, loaded the bikes onto a 100 year old traditional cot and took the 15 min ride along the lough to another landing stage near Crom Church. A very different tour experience, possibly a highlight! A low point came within 15 mins when a farm dog shot out of a drive and head butted Steve's rear wheel, which is now slightly buckled. He managed to get to Belcoo via a flatter route and will "true" his wheel tomorrow. The rest of us took to the hills in the Marble Arch Geo Park.
