Having prebooked our ferry crossing with the National Trust from the Crom Estate we got to the jetty around 1015, loaded the bikes onto a 100 year old traditional cot and took the 15 min ride along the lough to another landing stage near Crom Church. A very different tour experience, possibly a highlight! A low point came within 15 mins when a farm dog shot out of a drive and head butted Steve's rear wheel, which is now slightly buckled. He managed to get to Belcoo via a flatter route and will "true" his wheel tomorrow. The rest of us took to the hills in the Marble Arch Geo Park. Staying in a smart, Laura Ashley themed guesthouse for two nights as impossible to get two nights in Enniskillen as the Ulster Car Rally HQ is based there. Are planning to visit some tourist sites tomorrow, lightweight without the panniers.
