It's my birthday!!!! *Whistles, cheers and party poopers going off in all directions while a drunken white boy violently vomits into our bathroom sink which I had literally just finished bleaching the same day, dammit Callum!*
Hoo!
Yeah, so originally we were going to have everybody come down to Karamay to play laser tag, but as it turned out, just about everybody was broke at the time and couldn't really afford/be arsed travelling down to Karamay, so the group meet-up was postponed until Brian's and the Kuitun lads came down by themselves since they were so close. We played some laser tag with them and then owner for a few hours and continuously bodied the absolute s*** out of Patterson because he was a total scrub who needs to get up on our level (You mad, though?) In all seriousness, the owner of the place never really played last time we went so we had no idea how good he was. He played this time though. That guy was a laser tag God. s*** got real. I think I shot him 5 times the entire time we played. I think he stopped playing in the end just to let us have our dignity back. After the guns, Harrison and Pat Pat came back to Karamay for some dinner at Bernie's (the world famous noodle restaurant, hosted by your friendly Hui, Bernie!) Callum even bought me a cake an this kickass little puzzle sculpture thing as well. Bless his little Dorsetian heart.
You can probably guess what happened after dinner, right? That's right! Card games, drinking games, drinking card games and BOOZE! Apparently, I'm not supposed to talk about getting drunk on this blog, but I believe that everything in the universe must have its opposite: for every story of self-growth, making friends and learning about the Chinese way of life there must be a story of idiocy, drunkenness and bad decisions. Heh, to be honest, this one isn't even that bad. We just got plastered and I took my top off. Also, Pat vommed in my FRESHLY BLEACHED SINK, YOU INCONSIDERATE b******!!! Love you, man. Can't wait to see you at Smash 4 weeklies back in Scotland...which you will attend, right?
Anyhoo, that's my birthday for this year. Low key, but that's exactly how I like my birthdays. Not much fuss. Until next time, lovelies. Remember to stay beautiful, you cool cats!
