Got bus in the morning to Negombo, a place just north of the airport, above Colombo. Was going to go meet Yasu in a cheap hostel that he'd recommended, sleep the night, then get the bus the next day to the airport. Got there and I wasn't let down. Was the first hostel I'd been in, but was so good. 1000rs a night, £5, very very cheap for SL. Throw in free breakfast, tea and coffee, wifi and a nice beach and you're on to a winner. The women was so canny and helpful. There was a French guy who spoke killer English, a couple, maybe Austrian, and another Asian dude there. He asked me "where am I from?" showing me his flag he was carrying. The lad couldn't believe his ears when I answered correctly… Taiwan. (I had asked the woman earlier where he was from heeeheee). Had an unreal prawn curry on the nigh for £1. Life was good.

Later on the owener came, a big Sri Lankan dude, maybe late 30, plays cricket. We showed each other some magic tricks, I only had three but they blew them away hahaha.
