Got my bag and tried to go through to departures but was told I was too early so I waited in the main area, where I met a young 20 year old Indian called Prasenth, who was studying engineering at Mysore waiting for his flight home. Was good to have someone to chat to and he was very helpful. Waited 8 hours with him and watched the world go by. Lots and lots of Indians! Felt a lot like Kuwait and this helped. The day started well, hopped on a monorail and found my terminal at CDG easily enough. Whilst I was at the back of the plane getting a drink I got talking to a guy who was sat one space ahead of me in the plane.
