Me and Lawrence met up from breky, got a puri and a bowl of curry veg and a chai before exploring the birthplace of Budha. We discovered you needed to pay, so instead we walked around the perimeter instead for free. Lawrence as per tried to blag free or cheaper enterance by claiming he was in the SAARC countries, despite claiming he was from Hong Kong which isn't a member at all. Clocked. Checked out a temple before getting the bus to Tensen, a picturesque place bwteen Lumbini and Pokhara. We got a couple of buses and climbed higher and higher, so high that when I arrived I even felt a tingle in my arms lol. Lawrence wacked up the GPS and we instantly knew where we were (awesome gadget!) and found some accommodation. Later on we got some chowmein and some momos, stuffed dumplings with buffalo meat. And explored a local temple. The sign said take off shoes so we did, wandering around in endless pigeon s*** on the floor. Along comes a school of kids, all steaming in, looking round, all with shoes on. haha whatever! Later on we decided to try the local booze, and got one bottle of tiger and another bottle of leopard (pronounced leo-pard by the locals lol). We then began to realise the extent of poverty of Nepal as the electricity was just constantly turn off, meaning it was candles in the room for light. Had a good craic on about all things travelling and Lawrence told some of his endless stories of his 2 year+ adventure.
