Bariloche is framed by the snowcapped Andean peaks. The heart of town is Centro Civico, a spacious plaza. The town has a buscard system, before we can go anywhere we needed to find a kiosk to top up a card! After a long 28 hour bus drive where the driver drove off without me and devs at one of the service stations, we finally arrived at Bariloche! It's pouring down with rain :( so we took the lazy option of getting a cab to te hostel, only problem was our nutter driver drove off with the boot open and had to pull over to close it again! Arrived safely back to El Calafate where it was snowing! Feels like were back at home, for once when the bus drops you off we actually know where we are staying and how to get there! Back to America del Sur for our final night before Bariloche. Nice to be able to sleep in for a change! Today we have nothing planned except to catch a 4pm bus to Bariloche! Bring on R&R time! We all woke up today aching with sore muscles from yesterdays walk! Still amazed that we did it. With the soreness of our bodies and the crappy weather (rain and plenty of clouds), we decided to take the sensible or should I say the lazy option of a short two hour, 4km hike, Chorrillo del Salto, instead of our originally planned six hour hike.
