Final day of our journey
Wakened up at 1.30 am this morning by Alan trying to stab me!!!! Thankfully he didn't have a knife in his hand at the time but was dreaming he was in a fight and was stabbing his hand into my stomach. Just for the record this is now the third time an incident like this has happened!!! We both couldn't get back to sleep for laughing
We take a slight detour today to see Wave Rock at Hyden and it was well worth the visit. It is a granite cliff which has a rounded shape caused by weathering and water erosion and it's around 2700 million years old.
We arrive in Perth late afternoon and drive up the coast from Freemantle to Burns Beach. I absolutely love it (thank god because it's a long way back!!!) We book into a campsite right on the beach and the views are amazing, I can't believe that I am actually going to be living here.
Alan has driven the whole way, I have offered to drive but he obviously wants to say he did it all himself He has been remarkably calm and has done a great job, it has been a fantastic trip and I would recommend it to any adventurers out there. (worst part was the traffic getting out of Melbourne!!)
Now to find a house, school etc.............. oh no, not again!!!
