Today we went back to parts of the walking tour we wanted to check out in detail.

We went into the topography of terror museum and tried to get into the memorial to the murder Jews of Europe. However the later was closed. Then we went to the Berlin store shop/information centre. Then we continued down the road to our final destination.

On museum island we bought tickets for both the Pergamum and nues museums. They were both very good. I really liked all Pergamum s large exhibits on ancient civilizations. Trapper seemed to like the Islamic art section. Trapper I think finally got into the the museum scene with the nues museum. She quite liked the Egyptian section. I must say it was pretty amazing. So many things still had original paint on them. Nefertiti was amazing. Very worth it.

After that we walked home with a detour through markengraf square which was also quite beautiful.

Anyway we are home early for supper at home and doing laundry. Mainly I'm just trying to stay awake at this point so I don't fall asleep now and wake up raring to go at 5 am. Later all.
