Awesome day out - travelled by longboat, along with a Dutch couple, German couple & a French girl, to some raft houses on a massive lake at Surat Thani, and kayaked around to build up an appetite for lunch. Spotted some monkeys up in the trees.
Spent the afternoon walking through the jungle, led by our barefoot guide. We criss-crossed the stream lots, explored inside a cave, which the stream ran through, and tried to avoid leeches; Thals nil; Ems 3 , tho luckily only 1 actually got some of her blighty blood. Have probably tempted fate now and i'll find a big fat one somewhere on me in the morning! Hey ho.
Had a fun breakfast this morning when the French Toast I ordered came out looking suspiciously like French Fries! Of course I politely ate most of those whilst waiting for my toast.
This evening we dined at Pawns, which did a mean Thai curry, with the German couple that we met today, which was very pleasant.
