Well i spoke to soon re the weather being like spring.Yesterday we had a snow blizzard and all the power went off. within minutes everywhere became like a winter wonderland.
We were without power for about two hours but luckily we were prepared plenty of candles and some brandy to keep us warm.
Although there is snow everywhere the temperature isnt that bad and we are able to get out and about.
Ken has had some snow tyres fitted on the van which makes driving round the lanes easier.
In the village square there is now a christmas tree and the square is all lit up it looks pretty. On the television here is a channel you can tune into which shows you the village square all times of day and night it like having your own big brother.
The only action we have seen so far is when Ken decided to go down to the square jump up and down and wave(like i have said before i think the local people think us English are mad)
We went down to the local bar last night and i made the mistake of drinking vodka you cant believe how big they measurements are i only had three and was slaughtered by 8.00pm will definetly stick to beer in future.
Ken has brought me a car for christmas it is a little trabant it is so cute i think its is about 20 years old and has the gears on the steering wheel. when it starts it sounds like a motor bike (which is good as it will alert everyone in the village that i am coming down the road) Once i have got my pink fluffy dice and pink steering wheel cover and painted some flames on the side it will be cool. Not really!
I was supposed to have my first driving lesson but as the snow is so bad they have cancelled it. One of the English blokes has volunteered to teach me (he doesnt know yet what he has let himself in for)
I will be putting some photos on the site over the weekend and tonight we are going into the city to have a nice meal.
