So I woke up with a nice hangover, we didn't rush in the morning which was really good because I needed to sleep!! We had breakfast (breakfast was included at the Holiday Inn Express which was perfect!), then our plan was to hire bikes, ride around parts of San Fran and over the bridge, little did we know that the place next to our hotel had electrici bikes!! BEST THING EVER!! Pretty much, it's a normal bike but if you have it on, as you peddle the bike assists you and gives you an extra kick! Then if you're really lazy you can rev the bike like a motorbike and you don't have to use your legs at all (which I may have done a few times hahaha)! The first thing we wanted to see was Lombard Street whcuh seriously is just weird, why would you invent such a crockord street in a hill... Seriously? We parked our bikes and omg so funny!! I had my bike on and I've gone to lift it onto the kerb (which are double the size of the kerbs we have at home) and I've reved it and the bike gasps gone flying with me trying to hold on so tight! Being so out of it wit my hangover it just made it even funnier! Then next thing you know Megans tries to help me out at the same thing happens!! We finally turn our bikes off and locked them up and walked up that bloody hill of Lombard Street! There was a ridiculously amount of stairs there, and they weren't normal sized stairs either... The were shorter in height but longer. We made it to the top, took some photos and then headed back down to our bikes. Again the same thing happen with my bike but this time I was facing q parked car! I was lucky I used the breaks otherwise the bike would have rammed into the car and what would have made it worse was the couple was waking towards their car.
We headed towards Fishermans Wharf again and then stated riding along water to the bridge, it was a really nice ride (I'd do it again, but going over the bridge I think I'd prefer to walk). We rode past Giradelli, through some parks and found a nice little place for a healthy lucch (I was really hoping for the greasy food, but i was so hungry by this stance I didn't really care), going over th bridge was really cool, it was such a beautiful day as well so there was only a small amount of fog. Heading down from the bridge was really fun, massive hills to race down and when you get to the bottom the ear a rally nice view of San Fran! I can't remember the name of the town we rode into, I know we did go too far though and we actually went past the docks where we were supposed to catch the fairy back (to our credit it wasn't really noticeable or any good signage so we rode straight past)! We got to a point and we said yep we've gone too far so after asking for directions we headed back annnd this is where I was nearly killed! I was behind Megan and she was stopped at the lights, as I was coming up to them the changed to green and as Megan went to go she's swerved in front of me so I was now infront of incoming traffic! We were lucky the cars were going slow I must say! Once we got to the dock we were ready to go to bed, we had to wait about 45 minuts for the next fairy to come and little did we know how sunburnt we were getting and sitting by the water didn't help either!
We returned our bikes once we got back to San Fran and then got our selves ready for dinner. Elise told us about this soup place called Boudin, it was delishes!! We had corn and crab chowder and it came in a sowerdowe roll, just beautiful!! After dinner Megan flaked it around 8 I think and I packed for I was ready for Vegas the next day! I was so proud of my packing, everything fitted in really well (mind you when I got to the airport the next day, my suitcase was something like 2 pounds over so I had to take stuff out and put it in my other one but there was a jackass who was at check in was being so pushy and rude so that set my mood right off!) nice i finished packing, it felt so good to get into bed and have a good nights sleep!
