Good to hear from you 2 again and your continuing adventures in the antipodes. I never for one moment thought that Toby might have forgotten my birthday, as if! Just hope it's a good present!! The phots of South Island look very good especially the blue, aquamarine water of the rivers which looks very inviting but I guess is pretty cold. I noticed that you had had a puncture from the phots - I hope this wasn't down to reckless driving? Altho on 2nd thoughts that's probably impossible in a Sirion. Take care. Love Dad
Marianne
Hi there
Hope you are getting some of this amazing weather. Its clear blue skies and actually warm today! You might get this too late, but there's quite a cool little walk in Nelson to the "Centre of New Zealand". If you get a chance and the weather is good, the views are great. Any local will be able to tell you how to get there.
Have a great time and I hope the ferry crossing is smooth - the Marlborough sounds are really pretty. Lots of love Marianne

Hi Toby and Tegan. Glad to hear you both arrived safely in NZ. It's great to see all the photo's of your adventure so far. The snow looks fantastic and deep! We saw Mum and Dad yesterday with the dogs. Bertie is so cute and Wilf towers above him. Take care for now have fun. Love Claire, Andrew Oli & Dan
Chris
Thanks for the video, snow looks great and good to hear you both for a change even if it is only OK and a bit of a chuckle form Tegan, been to see Claire, Andrew and Daniel today - Oliver has gone to Snowdonia for the week. Bertie and wilf came as well. It did rain so much this morning that all the rivers are a bit high but of course it was harting Festivities so we expect nothing less.
hope you are both well, lots of love Mum

Good to hear from you guys. Enjoyed the photos. It all looks pretty cool. Toby - I want your hat it looks good. However I'm not sure about the rasta guy! Shame about the weather in NZ - hopefully it'll clear up - just like being at home! Are you going to get any skiing in whilst there or is too early in the season? Well back home, Bertie (the lurcher) arrived yesterday. Wilf's not sure what to do with him - enough said! But I'm sure it'll quieten down. Another bank holiday weekend so it'll rain - do you realise that there's only 1 more bank holiday left before Christmas! On that note. Keep us posted. Much love, Dad.

Hi guys. Its been great to have you here. I hope you have enjoyed a few home comforts - sorry the lie-ins were a bit scarce!!
Hope you enjoy your travels in the little jucy - it'll be great to have the freedom of a car again for a while. I hope the promised weather of sunshine in Queenstown is accurate as it will be stunning, especially with all the snow on the mountains.
Hamilton is devastated not to be coming with you. I think he'll miss you loads, as will we. Thanks for visiting and bon voyage for the rest of your trip. Give us a call every now and then whilst in NZ, so we know you're ok.
Lots of love - Marianne, Jonathan and a big sloppy kiss from Hamilton. xxx

Hi guys, back to abit of luxury now then!! Agree with Mark on the long blog from Chile, what was in those cakes...? and as for the sea monkeys, hope we don't hear about some weird kind of foreign bug devastating NZ in six months time. Enjoy NZ, it's a lovely place. Love Dad.
Chris
Thanks for the long and chatty blog, sounds like quite a hike but then it is a very long way. Hope the jet lag doesn't cause too much problem and you can start enjoying the things you want to do in NZ. We're going out tonight for our wedding anniversary and at the end of the week we pick up Bertie so I hope he behaves and that Wilf doesn't get up to his usual tricks otherwise he could end up barking in a lot higher tone!.
Have a great time
lots of love
Mum

Hey hey, little sea monkeys huh, sounds like fun, i would offer you all the info on the current state of affairs with my feet but i dont think Dad would approve. Yet again sounds like you are having much fun, Toby, check sians facebook as she will be mooching around in NZ in a week so you might be in the same place at the same time, she is going somewhere with snow!!
Petes funeral was really sad but nice, mass turnout by most of petersfield, and he left to every1 singing always look on the bright side of life!!

For those of us of a somewhat more squeamish disiposition I think there might be a little too much detail in the last blog!! And as for the Martians on the coach!! I don't think so. What sort of cakes have you been buying!! Summer here is officially over and we've returned to normal service - cold, grey skies and rain. So you're not missing much. Had a nice, if somewhat brief (24 hours) trip to Helsinki this week. Enjoy the rest of Santiago and have a good flight to NZ. Where a warm welcome is clearly waiting. Do you lose or gain a day this time? All the best. Love, Dad
