Arrived in Paris, but lingered about the station cos I researched that it was a 3 minute drive from the station to the hostel but the first taxi driver said it would be better getting a bus... Went to bus/tourist information, neither blokes knew a word of English! Said I need bus 76... So waited for bus 76 and when it arrived it was the wrong bus!
So went to go and get another taxi, finally he accepted my fair. But then he got lost, even tho he had a satnav! Haha, but luckily didn't charge me for his mishap.
Arrived at hostel, reception was very nice to me, and spoke English! Haha. Then in my room was this nice girl, Lara, German. She was in Paris searching for an apartment to study there.
Then met Barou, an overly nice Frenchman, too nice and a very weird man. And this Japanese guy who was really nice but didn't speak any french, only a little English.
I thought in what crazy world would I meet a German, Frenchman and a Japanese guy all in one day! WW2 eat your heart out, haha, but now we can live in peace and harmony.
