Arrived in beaugency after a looooooooong journey, me and Yohei got off at the wrong station and had to hitch a lift to the next town. There's Meung-sur-Loire and Beaugency-sur-Loire. Trust me to confuse the two! I wasn't happy. But arrived and then rented a bike for the following day. Not that there was much to see, so on the third day, me and Yohei decided to chill. We were so tired from paris, and the long journey and bike ride that we just wanted to do nothing.
I also introduced red wine to Yohei, he loved it! So we got a couple of bottles in. He didn't eat dinner so he got really drunk which was hilariously funny.
Played cards with two English girls from Berkhampstead funnily enough. We taught Yohei how to play go fish - something easy of course so he would get it quick enough.
The two girls, Jess and Helen were students, heading to La Rochelle to meet up with parents then to Nimes to meet their friends. Think they had a lot more money in supply so didn't ask to tag along. And they werent exactly bak packing - they had huge suitcases on wheels, probably filled with straighteners and make up. So not really up my street considering my bag only holds 25lt.
But they were good company.
Yohei left me and headed for Barcelona, now he's there and met some other Japanese people. So good on him, he needs to experience all of Europe in just a month, so I told him he should leave me and go do just that. If I were him I would be caning the eurail pass! Lol. But I have more time on my side.
