At HK Airport about to depart for Hanoi, Vietnam. HK is a great place for shopping. We broke away from Hong Kong and its claustrophobia and headed out to a couple of islands- Lan Tau (to see the Big Buddha- which strangely had a Nazi sign on his chest) and Lamma Island where we went for a 1hr20 min trek round the island in baking heat. Stopped off at a beach and had a little swim before carrying on with a hillside trek. Ended up at the Rainbow Seafood restaurant ...

Woohoo, we made it to HONG KONG! After a stressful few days packing the house away and cleaning like hell. Plane journey- delayed for 3 hours (landed 16:15 instead of 13:15) , trapped on the runways at LHR in a steaming HOT aircraft. OH it was BAKING! Nice seats though and great in flight entertainment with a few red wines thrown in. Teej watched the film Suckerpunch & Russ watched Eagle.
