Hello World Folk!!
It's been a while...
So...after recovering from hands down the oddest night of my life on wednesday Ben and I decided to head south on Thursday down towards Koh Samui, an island roughly 700km south of Bangkok.
We woke up that morning with asolutely no idea as to how and when we could get there so it was going to be a case of turning up at the bus station, trying to communicate with a worker there and hopefully not being shipped to Laos.
However, during one faitful McDonalds pepsi purchase expodition we heard a high-pitched Thai dude yell 'Come, come, 20 Baht' from behind us... We approached the man, who went by the name of 'Inn' and he told us that for 20 Baht he would take us in his Tuk-Tukl and give us a tour of Bangkok. Surely, for a mere 40p or less a near death expirience in a tuk-tuk is worth it alone regardless of the attractions...?
We then ended up swiftly in the back of his ride which had obvuiously spent some time of 'Pimp my ride Thailand' and after he had given up trying to sell his 18 year old daugher to us he took us to a crazy backstreet temple. Once we arrived, we met a mad little Chinese man who directed us to TAT travel (travel agency) so that we could get adice on how to get to Koh Samui...
So, we turned up at this TAT place and spent two hours being told what to do and where to go by an old Thai lady... we were too tired to argue so simply had the 'Yeh sure, here's my card' attitude and ended up paying 400 pounds for our next months transport and accomodation... winner winner, chicken dinner.
Meanwhile, whilst we were being given direct instructions on as to what our next few weeks intalled we forgot that the Tuk tuk dude was waitig outside... He didn't seem to bothered and asked us straight away if we were hungry. Im always hungry, i was born hungry so without heisitation we reverted back to 'Yeh sure' and then spent the next two hours having lunch and a fair few beers with out tuk tuk driver over some chilli sea bass!
Later last night, around 6pm, we got onboard the dreaded 14 hour bus journey to Southern Thailand... It was pretty much hell... Night time, full of dodgy folk and me, being kinda tall, struggling to not get leg cramp... which happened, for pretty much the whole duration...
We arrived in a small town on the mainland at half five this morning and then waited on the road for two hours for a 'man' (gotta be careful) to give us a lift to the pier... we jumped in the back of his pick up truck, sitting on our backpacks and bolted across some 'roads' to the pier... to then find out, after 2 more hours of waiting, that we were going to a different pier... So, an hour in a coach later we arrived, waited another hour and finally caught the ferry and arrived in Koh Samui a few hours ago!! Nuts!!
Seriouslty tired right now but the fact that we're living on the beach, kinda, and have a warm sea infront of us and a hot sun above us keeps the grin going so happy days!!
Off to potentially rent some mopeds tomorrow... fingers crossed. But for 4 pounds a day... it'd be a crime in itself not to. Then going on a deep sea fishing trip the next day but i'll keep you informed people!!
Much love and big missing going out to the select few (hohoho).
Hope everyone is in top form.
Peace love and banana colada's... my new favourite, slightly homosexual, cocktail.
Ciao,
xxx

Tom Hello!! Na you dont need to hear about that haha. Didn't moped today, maybe Monday! X
Dad Hope you had a nice lazy day sitting on the beach, I think you deserved it after your gruelling bus journey! I agree with Mike, your blog is well written and very amusing, perhaps you should be a professional travel writer! surely you can't be composing all of it on your iphone. Lovely sunny day here at home though it has been bucketing it down. Have fun, love Dad xxx
