Hello people!!
Thought I'd let you know how I'm doing.
We left Krabi yesterday morning at half six and entered into what only i can imagine hell to be like. I'm pretty tall, as you're all aware, and asking me to sit in the back of an overcrowded 'bus' with no space either side and my size 13 feet not even fitting into the 'leg space area' - I had a problem, sure. Spent the next 4 hours tired as hell, with pins and needles/cramp in both legs sitting in a bus with more than 10 near crashes, no joke.
We finally jumped out and a random town in Southern Thailand and moved onto the best bus ever. I COULD STRETCH MY FEET!!! It was almost too much, too good. Then we battled out that bus for 12 hours... Which consisted of several long q's at Malaysian border, but hey, late last night we made it to Kuala Lumpur.
Hoping the room would make us feel a bit happier we got directed down a dark alleyway on a dead street and climbed a few flights of stairs to meet a Chinese man - who gave us a key to the room that, at full stretch, I'm sure I can touch all 4 Walls.
Anyway - thinking life could only improve I woke up half deaf with a seriously painful blocked ear.
We hit up a Mcdonalds Bfast to try and regain some joy - which then only made me feel fat - but hey, at £1.50 for burger chips McFlurry and drink - I'm the winner!!
We then took the train to KL city centre and chilled in a massive mall - playing with all the stuff we wish we had! Harley davidson bikes for example!! I then realised i needed to see a doctor as my ear was more or less the same as someone grinding a knife into it...
Turned up to the Twin Towers Hospital, explained the problem, and eventually saw a doctor, who made matters worse by shoving god knows what into my ear, she then told me to wait. I waited, and ages later, her and an army of four Muslim ladies took me into a room and each played there own cabaret roll in playing with my ear. Long story short, I have a massive ear infection and it hurts like hell!!! Not awesome!!! But got medication...
We then trekked to Times Square and looked around and are now back in the box.
Heading out tonight to see what KL has to offer.
Hope you're all well.
Much love.
Injured Tom.

Dad I thought an hour and a half on the National Express coach ( which I'm on fight now) was bad enough, i'll never moan about the legroom again! Hope ear returns to normal soon. Love Dad xx
Mum Be thankful it's not your birthday and you don't have to have a dodgy Malaysian birthday cake!!!! Sad to hear about your ear... hope it gets better quickly. Love and hugs xxxxxxxx
Bob You really have a way with descriptive writing. This one is a bit sad and we feel your pain, but here's to hoping you get much better quickly.
Tom Hello!! Dad: Yeah national express looks awesome compared to that! Mum: Haha yeah!! God that was bad. Went past chillis today! Bob: Haha thank you! Yeah hopefully it'll fix soon! x
