HI everyone,

As you all know we are now in New Zealand.

Arrived around 2 wks ago now but so behind on these entries will start by telling you about our first few days in Auckland.

We were all organised on our first day opening a bank account, sorting out our tax numbers, typing up CVs for jobs and arranging to look at some rooms to let. By our 2nd day our plans had already changed. We went on a day trip of Auckland to see all the important sites For a city is very nice it is set by the harbour and is surrounded by beaches, for one of New Zealands biggest cities, it isnt even packed you can walk down the street with out being surrounded by people. But by doing this we realised we didnt want to be stuck in one place working when there is so much else to see plus we would be travelling around in the autumn missing the summer so by that evening we had bought a camper!!!!

Spent the next 2 days in Auckland visitng more sites, we went to the Auckland musuem which was very interesting and we spoilt ourselves by going for a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Plus getting everything sorted for our trip in Bob (our camper).

On our last night we took part in the quiz in the hostel bar and amazingly we came 2nd and won a $50 bar tab which we obviously had to drink away, our early night to prepare for the next day then did just not happen. So off we set the next day at 2pm (we are useless when feeling slightly worse for wear) on our road trip up north.
