Hello!! We are now in Argentina- after an 18hour killer journey (thanks to a vomitting todler sat behind us! super!) we are back in a buzzing city- Buenos Aires! It feels really European here with so many gorgeous cafes and bars and boutiques. We arrived at 7am, wearing flip flops and vests after being in a very warm and sunny Brazil, and found ourselves in a rather chilly city where everyone was wearing scarves and huge parker coats!!! So today we went out and grabbed a hoody!! It is so so cheap here i can't believe it, we're both seriously thinking about making a big parcel to send home!!!! Our hostel is a strange set up, its a lovely old building with lovely lounge and nice rooms, but most of the people staying there are working, so its like being in a shared house at uni where they live there long term and a bit clicky, so feel a bit like we're outsiders and invading someones bedroom. We have met a really nice couple from Melbourne who are travelling like us, so we're all hoping some more travellers will arrive soon, its bizarre! The plan is to stay in Buenos Aires for a week, and then maybe travel around Argentina a bit until we fly out of Buenos Aries on the 18th, but the south of Argentina is a no go now due to the cold and buses have stopped running, so we'll see what happens! We have free internet access at the hostel but all the long term stay people seem to hog it constantly, but i'm hoping i can get my photos on here at long last! Sorry these journals are such a fast run down, Claire seems to put much more interesting details on hers ha ha i'll have to do better next time! Byeeeeeeeeeee
