My bus to Paihia, Bay of Islands was at 8am! :-O After quickly grabbing some supplies for the journey I realised after that I shouldn't have bothered as I slept for the majority of the 4 hour bus journey...oops!

Arrived at Paihia around lunchtime and walked along the beach to get to my hostel. The sun was shining and the islands looked beautiful. Due to the nice weather it didnt seem like New Zealand either!! I checked into my hostel and went to the bar next door where I treated myself to a pint of cider, burger and chips! Very yummy! Thought I would spend my first afternoon chilling out so I lay on the beach reading my book and eating an ice cream. Bliss!! Still didnt get a bloody tan though!!

Went back to the hostel and before I knew it I had fallen asleep (at 7pm!) and didn't wake till 8am the following morning!! Am I still jetlagged?!!?! ha ha
