Jambo! So im freakin mad right now because as I was walking into the internet cafe some stupid ass guy was like jumping backwards being retarted and he jumped on my big toe and basically split my nail right in half and it was bleeding everywhere. So now it really hurts. ok enough complaining, today I went to my placement and I bought a bunch of cookie for my kids and we watched the lion king on my laptop which they loved. they kept thanking me and that was probably all they got to eat today so they love me forever. I'm in town now and I'm gonna do some shopping, go to the rasta shop, and i have this big batik fabric i bought that i'm gonna get made for me for 7 bucks! custom made! Gosh my toe is throbbing ok sorry hahaha. I feel a lot better today about everything that happened because I talked to the Mamas and told them that there is a huge lack of communication between them and us volunteers and then two other people backed me up on it and i think they got the point. there was another mugging around where i live that happened to a local mama and so i am gonna start getting a ride to work instead of walking like i usually do. Ok but good news...I ran into one of the CCS volunteers from the moshi house and she had awesome long crazy braids that looked amazing on her that she got in zanzibar. So, she told me she would tell me the places i can get braids or dreds... ;) i think im gonna do it...and dad it will be up to you to get them out and make me not look like a bald old man. Anyways, I called a ton of you guys yesterday and left some of you messages. I'll try calling you all if I can but its so damn expensive so it won't be anytime soon. Lets see what else....OH I FOUND SOY MILK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my gosh im so excited. Well I'm happy its friday and I am just kinda hanging out. 4 of the volunteers leave this weekend which is sad because i really like them all. We are ordering pizza and then bringing it home because we don't wanna eat out now. I'm not even carrying a purse anymore...its called a bra. But everythings a lot better and we are all just being really cautious so don't worry.
