Today was a much better day than yesterday I must say , woke up at 6:30 am and had a coffee outside . Decided to tackle my book and ended up reading for hour half , went for breakfast at Coffee and garden las orquides cute place and sweet lady who works there , I've been eating my
Meals there as it's reasonable and the wifi connection is great , came back to the hostel which is literally down the street , I got picked up at 10:30 to go
Rappelling ( canyoning ) down 6 waterfalls , it was only me , VIP baby , and two tour guide to belay me , costa from el salvador originally and Melbin I think , costa spoke English so naturally we spoke more , this was a experience , it's climbing down waterfalls on a rope that your being belayed down , I didn't think it would take so much energy out of me . But it did , i rappelled down 5 waterfalls , the highest being forty meters , and I'm scared of heights , but I did it, by the 6 th one I was so exhausted , my body was shaking and I had absolutely no energy , plus I looked Down which I shouldn't have done , so I stopped , thinking now it's done and proud I did it, had to walk up a steep hill for about ten minutes, as I'm huffing and puffing from being out of breath , wet clothes on and shaking from adrenaline . But it was awesome , got back to the hostel at about 1 pm and chilled around for a bit , talked to some dude from Austria for a bit then showerd and went to eat lunch . Sat outside and a slew of new people cane , some solo some together , most traveling all central America. Either south to north or opposite , bought dome vodka and chatted about everything , these guys mostly about politics , religion. And traveling as one guy I met has been all over in the past 15 years. 'met 2 cool guys from the uk who are super chill and are now fb friends. Ha h and some belgium dude who Flocked away , drank a Mickey of vodka which was nice but at the moment my head is pounding , they were going to a bar since it's only 10:30 pm , I was going to go but decided to ditch and come pass out instead , again head pounding , so today was way more exciting and productive , tomorrow off to arenal
