On arrival in Sydney we headed straight for manly and booked into the 'party hostal' manly backpackers. Basically day and night people drank out on the balcony, dancing on the tables with the tunes pumping (generally ministry of sound - the annual 07) and then headed off to the clubs around manly. This would generally be followed by an afterparty in one of the party rooms and approximatley 3 hours sleep (with the tunes continually pumping) and then with the morning it would start all over again. I managed to make it to the beach on most days which was a quite a result considering!! The whole of my birthday, christmas and new year passed in a drunken (but brilliant) haze and somehow my liver managed to last the 6 weeks we were there. Had a wicked time and made a lot of great friends but also blew a complete fortune....massive error!!
