Getting to argentina has been my greatest travel adventure ever.

This morning we were supposed to cross the border from brazil to argentina but couldnt due to local protesters blocking all roads in response to increased taxes. After waiting for a few hours in our tour bus we decided to arrange for a boat to take us across the river (illegal)but would get our passports stamped in the argentinian port straight away to make us legal. The dodgy boat guys however dropped us at a cliff face as they were scared of getting caught by helping us and we had to hike the cliff with our rucksacks. When we finaly got to the top the navy police were waiting for us thinking we were drug smugglers and took us to their base where they searched our bags. On realising we were possibly the most stupid tourists ever they took us to the port to get our pasports stamped and let us take loads of photos and even wanted to take us out for drinks...this place is great!
