Good evening from a very wet Ghana! I know it's been a while since my last entry but I've actaully been really busy and the internet has been SO rubbish here it's not worth wasting hours on it. I'll try to rememebr what I've been doing in the last nearly two weeks... Abura Literacy School was amazing, it's a poor school so the kids aren't very clever and don't have nice clothes or lots of materials but the atmosphere was really go...

Now this time I will attempt to actually write a short journal entry, here goes... I can't really remember what I did between my last journal entry and this weekend so I'll just fill you in on the weekend! My weekend was absolutely AMAZING! 15 of us went to Green Turtle Lodge which is an eco lodge (absolutely foul smelling self-composting toilet and they recycle the shower water for the plants) about 2 and a half hours from here near a place called Akwida...

Just a quick journal entry as I'm in the Internet cafe andthere is bloke here who I think may want me to become his 6th wife so need to scarper (lol CMC girls!) soon... Anyway what have I been doing, well on Wednesday afternoon after Kakum I went to one of the orphanages where some of the girls work. One ofthe girls was leaving the next day so the kids put on a traditional dance show and did loads of singing etc, it was amazing to see and very sad as she ha...

Just a quick note to accompany the Kakum National Park pictures and also it's raining here so the internet cafe seemed quite appealing!! We went to Kakum early on Wednesday morning, it is a small rainfores not very far from where we live. There are only 4 in the world and I think it's the only one in Africa so pretty impressive. There are 5 or 6 massive trees to each a platform is attached and then in between are the walkways between each oen so oyu go ...

Firstly let me aplogise for the quality of the pictures and the order which they are in, i.e no order at all really!! It takes ages to upload them so I have to compress them really small which means the quality is not very good but it gives you an idea! And whats more you get to look forward to looking through all of my pictures when I return.... So far this amounts to over 200 pictures in just over two weeks, just imagine how many I can take in the next 6 months...
