Loving the bathrooms in this country. Totally different from back home! Toilet explanation is a blog project all in itself! Let's leave the latter for now. The washing machine is awesome. Its a front loader which knows the true meaning of silence & speed, and no clothes have been put back for a more thorough clean yet, clearly washes well too. Basin is the size of a toddlers bath. Really large which makes it super handy for all sorts, incl dual teeth brushing session :) This laundry room area is also the location one would change into clothes after the bath/shower, and it has its own door for this reason. Handy for holding clean clothes for after shower dress. Then, there is a bathroom to the right of this area, which is for any kind of water works. The entire room is insulated/damp proof. It is rectangular in shape, and if you divide this space in half length ways, half has a bath in it, and the other half more like a shower. The Japanese take a quick shower/rinse before getting into the bath, and thus proves most handy to have this space. Reason for this, is that often the family all share the same bath water. I will add a photo of just this, it is something to see for sure. What is also great to see, and I will need to get a clip of this too, is that there is a whole control panel for the water works throughout the house. This shower room does however cleverly take preference/priority over all the others, for safety. Shower or bath tap, priority temperature control of the house, automatic bath fill (fills the bath to the set height and temperature), bath reheat will suction out a small amount of water from the bath into a cavity external to the bath and bathroom (not visible to the naked eye), it then reheats it and pumps back into the bath to keep the temperature at the allocated/set degree until switched off. AMA-zing what they have thought of.
