Anne Onymous I think I get it from the description; in some other places this is called a "hook turn", due to the shape of the vehicle's path when seen from above. The diagram on this page shows a similar operation for turning left while driving on the right. I'll describe the operation for a vehicle driving on the left, which is heading from south to north at the start of the operation, and wants to turn right, ending up heading east. The turning vehicle moves into the leftmost north-heading lane, crosses most of the intersection (moving slightly to the left to keep the south-north lane clear) and stops in front of the northernmost (from their new perspective, leftmost) east-heading lane (step 1). They then wait for the east-heading lights to change to green. When the light changes, the vehicle crosses the intersection heading east as if it had approached normally from the west (step 2).

Tamz Sadly this is the cooking version...isn't that poor quality headache material? not keen! I did have sake on our anniversary dinner, only one glass, and it sure is lethal! One glass knocked me flying! I had to finish it, cos it's not cheap! But clearly i made a cheap date!

Dunc and Fran Gibb Hi guys this is absolutely fantastic so interesting for me. Feel I am travelling from my couch. Hee Hee. Ro had our concourse and missed your cars. Lots of different entries but very low standard of cars. It was in Ashburton nice venue pub, farm, ford cars six on show, horses. good turnout the usuals and los of others. The ladies (me) caused fun with Bevan cos he had a round back Spider and we were voting for car of the day. We teased and said the hubby goes with the car....he won so six of us went and sat with him....you can imagine he was so taken aback. Hee hee. Tam I am so very proud to see you on your bike that is an exceptional achievement very well done so pleased. Take care and keep this fantastic site going. Ro work hard and keep racing....Apparentlly Gary complained about the overtime very buzy at the moment and Wa also working stax overtime. How was hyour earthquake were you scared let me know all about that. Lots of love to you both from the Gibbletts.

Dad Dad Pleased you have had a ride on the train. I forget who, maybe Nevell Young(camping friends) gave me a DVD of the Maglev train a while back. Must be supper quiet inside!?
