Tuesday 17 June - Oban to Arrochar I started my day with a wander around Oban town centre exploring the shops and picking up a few trip souvenirs. I checked out of Sandvilla and fixed up the parking. From here I made the short drive up to McCaig's Tower that overlooks the town of Oban. It is a circular structure made up of two tiers of lancet arches constructed in 1897. Monday 16 June -Oban, Glencoe & Glenfinnan Viaduct It's a grey and rainy day. The light rain persisted for most of the day with a little gap in the late afternoon. However, I still headed out in the morning up to Glencoe driving back along the Argyll Coast. Glencoe is small and I went to the Visitor Information Centre. Saturday 14 June - Hiking Stac Pollaidh and time on the beach A beautiful start to the day, a little overcast but warm. We started with a delightful breakfast - homemade porridge with fresh fruit, followed by scrambled eggs (fresh from the cottages hens) and local made seeded sourdough toast, and green tea.
