An early morning flight from Arequipa via Puno brought us to Cuzco! We flew over a volcano but we were on the wrong side of the plane.

We did a walking tour of Cuzco and I ordered a fruit salad smoothie but got a bowl of fruit at the market!

We went to a 'coffee with legs' with the boys where the waitress wore short shorts and I had a hot chocolate with Baileys!

We then went for a walk with Grant up the hill. I went half way but let the boys walk all the way to the top. The views were beautiful!

I had a 1.5 hr nap then joined Garth and Grant to another trip to the market where we bumped into two friends from SWV - Bryan and Jen! Grant then did some dancing with a local band which was amazing! We bought a chocolate fish for 4 soles which was quite sugary but nice. Bryan and Jen then recommended a little restaurant where we had 2 courses for 10 soles!

At 5.30 we had our briefing for our 4 day Inca Trail Trek - not sure if I'm really excited or slightly petrified!!

The boys then went to watch a football match - Cuzco and Paraguay and Bryan joined them whilst Jen and I had a couple of drinks. Was lovely meeting her and having some female company.

I picked up our washing from the laundrette and have packed for the trek. I managed to fill my 5kilo bag with 3 kilos worth of stuff which I was very chuffed with! I am now preparing myself for 4 days worth of physical excursion surrounded by 15 men!!!!
